Can I Learn To Dance?
Yes! Anyone can learn to dance! I have a curriculum and tools, which guarantees you will be dancing in no time. It has proven to be successful, not only in teaching people how to dance, but also in giving them the added confidence they need in just a few fun and easy lessons.
How Long Will It Take To Learn To Dance?
The length of time depends on how often you come to class and practice dance, but you'll be dancing after your first class!
How Can I Improve My Dancing Skills?
You can improve your dancing at a faster rate with a combination of group classes, private lessons, and most of all, practice, practice, practice!
How Large Is The Class?
Class sizes can range from 15-30 students and may vary from month to month. However, I ensure all students receive equal levels of attention during instruction regardless of the class size.
What Do I Wear To Class?
There is no specific dress code for my classes. However, I would recommend you wear something cool and comfortable. This is particularly important when it comes to shoes. It is important you wear shoes with smooth soles versus rubber soles. For the ladies, ensure you wear shoes that are flexible and provide good ankle support. Flip-flops are difficult to dance in.
Is Previous Salsa Or Dance Experience Necessary?
No. Every new beginner class has new dancers who are winging it.
Is It Necessary To Bring A Partner?
No. The great thing is, you don't need a partner! Very few people are coupled in my classes. I rotate couples, so you can learn from experienced dancers, as well as assist the newcomers.
What Is The Predominant Age Group At The Classes?
I have a range of ages in my classes from young to older. Everyone is welcome and will feel like a part of the family immediately.
